This newly created role is ideal for a driven, strategic professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for building long-term client relationships.You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and delivering tailored mounting solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. This role offers high visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to directly influence company growth.Job Function:Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the mounting systems business across Canada
- Identify and pursue new customers, markets, and partnerships
- Develop and execute business development strategies
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams on custom solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and technical documentation
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market needs
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
- Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Job Requirement:What You Bring
- At least 4 years of experience in the solar industry, preferably in business development or technical sales
- Solid knowledge of solar mounting systems, including ground mount, rooftop, and tracking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel across Canada, with occasional international travel possible
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
