In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, which includes in-store sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem solve, thrive in a past pace environment, lead a dynamic team and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success in this role.Key job accountabilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assumes leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional Customer experiences.
  • Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive Customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty
  • Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling
  • Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes
  • Achieves company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility
  • Develops and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
  • Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background: relevant post-secondary education
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory role
  • Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors
  • Positive and energetic team player with a strong leadership capability
  • Proven ability to motivate others
  • Proficiency in computer use, including e-mail, MS Word or other word processing program and Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience
  • Ability to work, days, closing shifts and weekends
  • Mobile within a geographic area
