Position Title:Truck DriverPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time Requisition ID: 41497McCain Fertilizer, a Division of McCain Produce Inc, is a leading distributer of crop inputs, including blended fertilizer, crop protection products and other related inputs, with multiple locations in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine.We are currently seeking a Delivery Truck Driver, Class 3A, for our Grand Falls Location. This position is based out of the Grand Falls area with daily deliveries in surrounding areas and Maine. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for continued employment.JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:· Required Class 3 driver’s license· Ability to operate a forklift would be considered an asset· Willing to work evenings and weekends during busy planting season· Ability to work well with supervision and other employees· Team player with excellent attendance· Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.· Good verbal and written communication skills.· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.· Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.· Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate ‘safety first’ on a continual basis, following all safety requirements.· Must be able and willing to deliver to locations in Maine.The above information indicates the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
