- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Valid drivers’ license with a clean drivers’ abstract
- Must have valid passport or the ability to obtain one
- 3+ years’ experience in a professional graphic design, visual communication or related field
- 5+ years’ experience with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or other related softwares
- Photography and photo-editing experience with proven proficiency with photo-editing software
- Previous videography experience, including creation and editing preferred
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and Javascript
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory
- Work on a wide range of projects, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs
- Update and maintain internal image and video content databases
- Design print materials such as catalogues, brand guidelines, brochures, postcards, advertisements, tradeshow collateral (signs, banners, promo) and in-store visuals and signage that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
- Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
- Executes design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deliverables are produced on time and meet quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
- Assists with other design assignments and projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
