Role Descriptions: Role SAP P2P Functional ConsultantNeed a strong SAP S4HANA P2P Functional Consultant for Global S2P (Source to Pay) project rollouts.S2P system (SAP S4HANA and SAP Ariba) is already live for North America and this position will work on the planned roll-outs to other geographies.Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for quality delivery of solution implementation deployment analysis and study of functionaltechnical feasibility of user requirements in SAP S4HANA FI and SAP Ariba Source to Pay (S2P) Process.Configuration of SAP FI modules including but not limited to General Ledger| Accounts Payable| Fixed Assets Accounts Payable experience is Primary.Work on change requests as well as defect fixes across the FICO| P2P process| and integration modulesSupport requirements gathering of the end-to-end solution development for Fiori applications| S4HANA embedded reporting (Design Studio) and SAP Ariba.Based on user requirements| and inputs from the Business Analysts| develop functional and technical specifications for SAP solutions and work on front end toolsPerform Functional| Unit| Regression testingWork collaboratively with the Testing Centre of Excellence to ensure that the developed solution functions correctlyAssist with development of security roles and profilesPrepare Training materials and provide trainingProvide estimates and contribute to defining timelines and project plansWork with project management to document and communicate risks and issues.Ensure alignment to Sun Life SDLC and internal standards and complianceTransition projects and enhancements to OperationsPerform root cause analysis on persistent or major software application related problemsProvide end-user support especially during warranty support and QEME periodsOperations Support technical configuration| problem analysis| resolution| escalation| and reportingCollaborate closely with our internal teams (e.g.| data architects| designers| business to business| business intelligencereporting| server management| etc.) to deliver solutions for business needsEssential Skills: MUST HAVE Skill setsBachelors degree or equivalent combination of education| training| or work experience6 years of overall experience as a SAP S4HANA functional consultant in SAP FI (GL| AP| FA) and SAP Ariba.Strong experience in S4HANA Accounts Payable (AP) module and processes is MUST.At least one completed full-cycle SAP S4HANA SAP Ariba P2P implementation rollout project.At least 4 years of S4 HANA FI (in AP module) experience.Strong business knowledge in accounting| controlling| planning or general Finance and procure to pay processes using SAP Ariba.Strong understanding of the S4 HANA Finance solution and master data concepts.Experience in working with interfaces with SAP (both SAP and non-SAP environments)Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S4 finance system issuesExperience with SDLC methodologies Agile| WaterfallExperience working with application vendors and building solutions involving integrating vendor applications into existing environment.Experience with creating effective design documentation and diagramsAssetsSAP Certification Application Associate (SAP S4 HANA for Financial Accounting and Procure 2 Pay)SAP MM module implementation for integration with SAP AribaABAPCDS code understanding with an ability to go into the existing code to figure out how objects need to be enhanced.Experience working with geographically distributed and 3rd party teamsFinance designation (CGA| CMA)IFRS17 regulatory requirements knowledgeAdditional CommentsLocation Toronto| CanadaOccasional work outside of normal business hours as part of a global teamOccasional weekend work in support of project delivery and implementationsDesirable Skills:Keyword:Skills:Digital : SAP Ariba~Digital : SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management - Sourcing & Procurement~Digital : SAP S/4HANA - Central FinanceExperience Required:6-8
