You will ensure timely availability of materials in compliance with Health Canada regulations and EU-GMP standards to support seamless production and distribution.Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing sourcing and procurement of all primary and secondary packaging materials, including supplier audits.
  • Ensuring all packaging meets regulatory and brand requirements, including bilingual labelling and excise stamp integration.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of production-related consumables (e.g., gloves, filters, cleaning agents, lab materials) and reordering.
  • Maintaining accurate records, ensuring they are always complete and audit-ready .
  • Performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs related to packaging and consumables processes.
  • Facilitating and partaking in cross-functional collaboration, both site-wide and internationally.
For this role, it is essential you are on-site at our Brampton production facility daily, moving between production, packaging, and warehouse areas to ensure everything is running smoothly. You must also have:
  • Experience coordinating packaging/materials, preferably in the cannabis, pharmaceutical, food, or CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials and regulatory labelling requirements in Canada.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
