Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Architect to support large-scale, complex initiatives within a public-sector environment. The consultant will lead business and application architecture activities across multi-project, multi-stakeholder programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory obligations. This role requires deep hands-on experience in business architecture, application/solution architecture and stakeholder facilitation within regulated enterprise environments.ScopeLead end-to-end Business Architecture and Application Architecture activities for complex public-sector initiativesEngage with stakeholders to analyze business capabilities, processes, and solution requirementsFacilitate architecture alignment across business, application, information, security, and technology domains.Assignment DeliverablesBusiness architecture artefacts (capability models, value chains, process models, BPMN diagrams)Application and solution architecture artefacts, including security and privacy design componentsBusiness requirements documentation and process re-engineering outputsRisk, issue, and dependency assessments with recommended mitigation strategies.Expertise RequiredMust Have:10+ years' experience delivering Business Architecture in Public sector or complex regulated environmentsHands-on experience developing business and application architecture artefactsProven experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, validation, and review sessionsExperience leading solution design, including security and privacy considerations.Nice to Have:Experience supporting PIA, TRA, and other security or compliance assessmentsKnowledge of Zachman Framework and enterprise architecture best practices.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
