Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with senior management to oversee the company’s financial, accounting, and tax functions;
- Performing in-depth accounting analyses and providing strategic recommendations;
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards;
- Contributing to the annual budgeting process, including preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets;
- Managing and guiding the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency;
- Partnering with various stakeholders on initiatives aimed at optimizing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration;
- Proven experience in an accounting or financial controller role;
- Experience in a professional services environment is considered an asset;
- CPA designation is an asset;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and tax regulations;
- Advanced skills in financial analysis and budget management;
- Strong interest in emerging trends and process optimization;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders;
- Good leadership skills. Team management experience is an asset;
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Proficiency in accounting and financial software, as well as common office tools.
