Junior, entry level hands-on gummy formulation R&D lab assistant sought for NHP manufacturer in Vaughan. Based in the lab, you will contribute to gummy product development, their ingredients, and their manufacture / scale up.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help with nutraceutical / gummy formulation, varying with clients and products.
  • Support the preparation of new formulations based on project or customer requirements, quality, stability, texture, taste, sensory perception..
  • Assist in making new gummies - e.g. cooking, cooling, related.
  • Help to troubleshoot formulation and process parameters.
  • Contribute to both pilot and commercial runs and scale-up.
  • Evaluate new raw ingredients, with full documentation.
  • Help with product stability tests, including adequate documentation.
  • Support quality specialists e.g. doing verification testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science Diploma or B.Sc.
  • Lab work / bench work background.
  • Attracted to food / nutraceutical / gummy industry(ies).
  • Any academic exposure to any of these 3 of great interest.
  • Detail oriented, self motivated.
  • Excellent English and if possible Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills.
  • New graduates considered.
