The Batcher supports the daily operations of the concrete plant by helping coordinate production activities and keeping workflows organized and efficient. This role works closely with on-site teams to assist with scheduling, batching, and general plant operations to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable production. It's a hands-on position in a fast-paced construction environment where strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail contribute directly to smooth plant performance and consistent delivery for customers.Responsibilities
  • Operate a computerized batching system to accurately produce concrete mixes in accordance with specifications and quality standards
  • Manage all aspects of batching operations, including:
Product quality: Monitor mix specifications and address issues to maintain consistencyInventory control: Track raw material levels and coordinate replenishment as neededSupport production scheduling, planning, and reporting to ensure efficient daily operationsSupport plant maintenance activities, including routine upkeep, assisting with/scheduling basic repairs, and contributing to the safe and reliable operation of equipmentAssist with staff supervision, including coordinating driver schedules and providing operational support as neededPromote and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment, prioritizing safety, quality, and production efficiencyOther duties as assignedRequirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with general plant maintenance (including bending, lifting, working outdoors)
