Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelinesSet up and stock assigned workstations with necessary supplies and equipmentEnsure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations during and after serviceFollow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsCommunicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members during serviceAssist with prep work, plating, and restocking as requiredProperly store food, label products, and rotate inventory (FIFO)Support opening and closing kitchen proceduresComply with all company policies and workplace safety standards Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a commercial kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
