- Leading donor strategy in the TOK region and managing relationships to increase the number of five-figure gifts.
- Developing and implementing personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans.
- Writing compelling proposals, letters, funding applications, and gratitude reports.
- Partnering with Executive and Senior Leaders, regional staff, and volunteers for face-to-face solicitations.
- Acting as a resource for colleagues managing donors with TOK-related interests.
- Using metrics and reporting to evaluate portfolio success.
- Identifying new prospects and contributing to mid-level donor pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Senior Officer, Events (TOK) to grow event revenue.
- Engage with regional teams to support community involvement and share the BC SPCA story.
- Provide local stories, images, and content for Communications and Digital teams.
- Ensure donations are processed accurately and donor records are up to date in Raiser's Edge.
- Attend team and organizational meetings, including in-person department meetings twice per year.
- Travel throughout the region as required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- University degree plus 5-8 years of fundraising experience, with a focus on major giving (CFRE accreditation an asset) or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success soliciting gifts of $25,000+ and managing high-capacity donor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with a diverse audience.
- Highly organized, creative, solution-oriented, and resilient.
- Collaborative, professional, and team-oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Raiser's Edge preferred.
- Valid BC driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.

- Full-time salaried position. Salary range: $68,000 - $85,000 per year.
