Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential apartment buildings (10 buildings of 1300 units) - manage leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and budgets.
  • Oversee leasing agents, ensuring occupancy targets are hit and marketing efforts are working.
  • Coordinate maintenance and capital projects with internal techs and external contractors.
  • Enforce lease compliance while keeping tenant satisfaction high.
  • Stay on top of arrears, expenses, and operational KPIs.
  • Be the problem solver. When issues arise, you're expected to act - not escalate problems upwards.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience managing a Residential portfolio, ideally with 500+ units
  • You are fully versed with and understand the Residential Tenancy Act and how to apply it in real-world situations.
  • You have a driver's license and reliable vehicle (Halifax-based role).
