Established in 1986, the clinic boasts a spacious area of 8600 square feet that is wheelchair accessible. The clinic is well-lit and inviting with ample free parking. We leverage a large, well-equipped gym and work-simulation tools to achieve exceptional outcomes for WSBC, ICBC, LTD, and private clients. With over 30 years of experience in work conditioning, med-legal services, and functional capacity evaluations. Our primary treatment programs include concussion rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, general physiotherapy, vestibular therapy, active rehabilitation, medical-legal assessments, long-term disability, return-to-work planning and much more. Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a physician, counsellor and kinesiologist, supported by dedicated admin staff, all working together within programs that emphasize early assessment, evidence-based concussion management, and safe return to work and daily function. Grow with us and make a difference in our community's return to active health.Your impactThis position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases. Our KINs provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. They also play a pivotal role in supporting veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals. In this role, you will:
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
  • Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document client sessions; submit reports to stakeholders promptly.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
  • Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart.

  • Registered and in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.
  • Preferably with clinical outpatient rehabilitation experience in areas such as WorkSafe CRP Program, ICBC, JSV, return to work, mental health, and musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury.
