- Design and build electronic circuits.
- Design and implement solutions to issues and problems and perform fault analyses.
- Perform skilled work in the installation, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of electronic equipment and systems.
- Interpret existing or prepares new sketches, diagrams or schematic drawings.
- Understand, operate and modify computer software for electronic equipment/systems and building automation systems (BAS).
- Work in accordance with applicable by-laws, codes and standards on all that is performed on equipment/devices.
- Graduate of a recognized diploma program in Electronic Technology plus five (5) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Industry and vendor equipment certifications as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
