Pain Assessment Physician- SpecialistAlbertaTraining ProvidedSupervision and Immigration Support AvailableOur client is Canada's largest provider of interventional pain management, operating state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinics across Alberta. Their mission is to deliver timely, personalized care for individuals living with chronic pain through innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence.With clinics located in Edmonton and Red Deer, they are expanding access to high-quality pain care and are seeking Specialists to join their team as Assessment Physicians.Role OverviewAs an Assessment Physician, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing chronic pain and play an essential role in developing individualized treatment plans. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will help improve patients' quality of life while contributing to innovative approaches in pain management. Virtual Assessment work may be available.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct initial and follow-up assessments of patients with chronic pain.Review patient histories, diagnostics, and reported symptoms to determine underlying causes.Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interventional physicians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals.Educate patients on pain management strategies and self-care.Maintain thorough medical documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.Engage in professional development and training in the field of pain care.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) degree.Post graduate specialist training & certification.Valid license (or eligibility) to practice medicine in Alberta.Open to change of scope of practice into pain management.Previous experience in chronic disease management or related fields is an asset (training provided).Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.Compensation / OverheadFee for service split:70% to the physician, 30% overhead.Fluoroscopy procedures FFS split- 50/50.Additional benefits for Physicians working 3+ days/week:$5,000 annual bonusMedical & Dental BenefitsWhat's OfferedOpportunities across multiple Alberta clinics.Collaborative, supportive, multidisciplinary environment.Training and mentorship in pain assessment and management.Flexible schedules and competitive compensation.Supervision and Immigration Support AvailableRelocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.Interested candidates please contact or send CV to:Michelle Flynn, RPRCOO/ Physician Recruitment ConsultantCanAm Physician Recruiting Inc.michelleflynn@canamrecruiting.caPlease feel free to forward this posting or share it within your network.
