- Lead quality management for assigned projects, providing direction and workload distribution for the QA/QC team.
- Communicate quality control policies, procedures, and guidelines to employees and subcontractors.
- Prepare and oversee Inspection & Test Plans for all project phases.
- Collaborate with client technical support and manage subcontractor inspection plans.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
- Verify As-Built Drawings, manage punch lists, and resolve NDT subcontractor issues.
- Provide expertise on inspection technologies, industry codes, and company standards.
- Supervise project Quality Plans, coordinate resources, and build strong site partnerships.
- Anticipate challenges, propose innovative solutions, and align quality efforts with organizational goals.
- Influence strategic decisions through internal and external networks.
- Ensure timely completion of project turnover packages and conduct quality audits.
- Maintain calibration of measuring and test equipment.
- Post-secondary education with a diploma, degree, or trade certificate in a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction codes, standards, practices, and equipment.
- Experience with concrete and grout testing, reinforcement inspection, and steel structure examination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in remote locations for extended periods and adapt to varying schedules.
- NDT CGSB certification and CWB Welding Inspection Certificate Level II preferred.
