Job DescriptionWhat Is The Opportunity?Join RBC's Finance and Audit IT Supplier Delivery Management team as a Manager overseeing critical vendor relationships and outsourcing arrangements. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll drive supplier performance, develop governance frameworks, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. You'll own the end-to-end supplier management lifecycle—from contract intake and compliance to cost optimization and transformational change initiatives. Based in Toronto, this full-time position offers the opportunity to shape supplier strategy across the FIAT portfolio while collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry partners. Lead a team, influence organizational direction, and make measurable impact on RBC's supplier ecosystem.What Will You Do?Structure and negotiate outsourcing arrangements while monitoring adherence to service level agreementsDevelop and execute supplier management policies and strategies to maximize vendor effectiveness and risk mitigationMonitor vendor performance, industry trends, and provide insightful reporting to FIAT VP and leadership on supplier metrics and cost savingsOwn the FIAT contract intake repository, managing pre-approval/approval processes and conducting predictive analytics and forecastingServe as the central point of contact for supplier management compliance, governance, and transformational change initiatives across FIATCollaborate with Procurement, T&O Supplier Management Office, and GFT Supplier Delivery Management on contract reviews and best practice alignmentLead planning initiatives supporting the FIAT portfolio including communication sessions and ad hoc reportingManage Tableau reports and data automation related to suppliers and contractors, including invoice reconciliation and payment processingWhat Do You Need To Succeed?Must have:Proven vendor/supplier relationship management experience with complex outsourcing arrangementsStrong contract negotiation and governance skills with ability to ensure compliance and service level adherenceDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholdersFinancial acumen with ability to track spend, forecast costs, and identify savings opportunitiesAnalytical and reporting capabilities including experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) and performance metricsNice-to-have:Experience in financial services or banking industry supplier managementFamiliarity with RBC systems, processes, or organizational structureProject management certification or experience leading transformational change initiativesBackground in IT or technology contract management and vendor delivery oversightWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
