Welcome Home!We’re more than Canada’s largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer—we’re part of communities across the nation.Accounts Payable: Where Accuracy meets Efficiency!As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate entry of high volume of invoices to process payments and reviewing data entry to ensure accuracy of entry. Led by the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, this opportunity suits a strong communicator with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with previous data entry experience.Please note: This is a 12-month term role.Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how:
  • Enter high volume of invoices (warehouse or dealer direct) with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Review supplier statements as necessary.
  • Assist with other administrative related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Check invoice terms and taxes for Suppliers.
  • Ensure that quantity received matches invoices.
We’re looking for:
  • High School Diploma or GED, with two years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Teams). Knowledge of an ERP system or Oracle Financials is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Federal and Provincial Sales Taxes.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail, and self-discipline is essential.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

  • The expected starting salary range for this role is $42,600 - $52,600; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
