Job Title: Guidewire - Tester
Location: Markham, Ontario
Duration: 6 MonthsIntroductionJoin our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager in the Information Technology sector. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in manual testing and experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6 years of experience in Manual Testing (System Testing | System Integration Testing)
  • 2 years of experience with SCRUM methodology
  • Proficient in Guidewire Policy Center
  • Experience in the Rating module
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and terminologies
  • Experience in Test Strategy and Planning
  • Experience in Defect Management
  • Proficient in forming Test Artifacts
  • 5 years of experience with Jira
  • 2 years of experience with any Agile Project Management Tool (e.g., Rally)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Guidewire: PolicyCenter - Domain/Functional Testing
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Conduct manual testing and ensure quality assurance in system and integration testing
  • Collaborate with the SCRUM team to enhance project delivery
  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans
  • Manage and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Create comprehensive test artifacts
