- Own Canadian BFSI revenue growth with defined annual business targets
- Originate and close net-new client engagements across banking and insurance
- Develop and execute a focused go-to-market strategy for the BFSI market
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline aligned to aggressive growth objectives
- Identify and penetrate whitespace and competitive accounts
- Leverage and expand C-suite relationships across CIO, CFO, COO, CPO and business leadership within Canadian financial institutions for AI, Technology and Business Process Transformation themes
- Convert executive relationships into qualified opportunities within the first 6 to 12 months
- Represent ISG in industry forums, executive roundtables, and thought leadership platforms
- Lead strategic pursuits from early qualification through contract signature
- Shape solution strategy in collaboration with ISG subject matter experts
- Develop compelling proposals aligned to client priorities and commercial realities
- Negotiate and close advisory engagements
- Serve as executive sponsor on client engagements
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and ISG delivery teams
- Identify expansion opportunities within active accounts
- Contribute to development of Canadian BFSI thought leadership and go-to-market messaging
- Provide market insight to inform service development and competitive positioning
- Support broader firm growth initiatives as a senior member of the BFSI leadership team
- Remote position based in Toronto, Canada with likely travel to New York City; Travel up to 25-30%
- 15+ years of experience in the Canadian BFSI sector, with a significant portion focused on business development and executive relationship management
- Demonstrated track record of personally originating and closing multi-million-dollar consulting or advisory engagements
- Established executive network across Canadian Tier 1 banks, insurers, or major financial institutions
- Proven ability to generate revenue through strategic relationship mapping, executive outreach, and pursuit leadership
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategy, managed services, IT operating models, vendor ecosystems, and commercial structures within BFSI
- Leadership experience managing small to mid-sized teams
- Experience selling advisory services related to digital transformation, cloud, automation, operating model redesign, or cost optimization
- Credibility operating at C-suite and Board-adjacent levels
- Experience acting as executive sponsor or senior advisor on complex consulting engagements
- Strong proposal development and commercial negotiation skills
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for senior executives
- Active professional presence on platforms such as LinkedIn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across a matrixed organization
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology or Science
- MBA or another advanced degree (s) desirable
