Not Your Average Warehouse Job - We Work with Bugs Agilus is recruiting for several Packaging & Fulfillment Associates in the Agriscience sector in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We're looking for a reliable and detail oriented Packaging & Fulfillment Associate to support our growing fulfillment and distribution operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on work in a warehouse or production environment and wants to be part of a mission driven, locally based company. What's in it for you:

  • Day shift 8:00am-5:00pm
How you will make an impact:
  • Bagging, storing and organization of finished product and inventory
  • Handle and package finished goods according to quality and safety standards
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety, and workplace safety guidelines
  • Label, weigh, and document outgoing shipments
  • Support general warehouse and production activities as needed
The successful candidate brings:
  • Previous experience in order picking, packaging, warehouse, or shipping/receiving is required
  • Comfortable working in an agriculture warehouse
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting packages (up to ~50 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for order tracking or shipping systems are an asset
  • Sit down counterbalance forklift experience is an asset
