- Maintaining a strong Safety Management program
- Leading all company policies and procedures, and ensure they are being adhered to
- Assisting in Document Control, Workflow and Quality Assurance/Quality Control
- Completing and reviewing time sheets
- Ensuring the development of workers is in the Competency Program
- Keeping focused on the corporate needs and applying them to the tasks that the crews are working on site
- Establishing and maintaining working relationship with the client at all times
- Organizing resources to ensure the workflow is moving efficiently (schedule labour/equipment)
- Effectively following and using the progressive disciplinary action program
- Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
- You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
- Journeyman Pipefitter or Welder an asset
- Minimum 10 years of oilfield construction (all aspects)
- Minimum 5 years of supervision experience
- Outstanding record of building and contributing to a strong safety culture
- Thorough knowledge of the Quality Management Program
- Proven ability to work with, lead and motivate workers
- Familiarity with and ability to interpret isometric drawings
- Relevant Safety Tickets
