- Support Industrial Systems Engineers with their projects such as:
- Civil/Facility tasks; facility updates, repairs, limited structural design, building projects
- Mechanical tasks; mechanical designs, hydraulics, HVAC, pumps, simple structures, ventilation and various other system related items
- Create 3D drawings with Solidworks drafting software for various design projects
- Collaborate with other groups - communication skills are a key element in working in this fast paced group
- Documentation related to project management, industrial systems and equipment
- Be part of and provide technical support for projects aimed at the facilities and facility systems to comply with existing codes and safety standards
- Work with production and production engineering to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Investigate and respond to facility related safety concerns and develop solutions
- Investigate failures of facilities systems, and improve the reliability or safety of the system
- Conduct audits of critical assets and systems
- Engineering degree in the Civil, Mechanical or Industrial field (new grads are encouraged to apply)
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office and 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- High degree of analytical thought and creativity
- Effective trouble-shooting & problem-solving skills
- Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an asset
- Willing to relocate to St. Brieux, SK
