Job Title: Communications Specialist IIILocation: Calgary, AB (Hybrid Schedule - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office, Wednesday and Friday WFH)Our client is seeking a Communications Specialist III to join their team. As a Communications Specialist III, you will be part of the Strategy & Engagement team supporting project communications, engagement initiatives, and organizational messaging. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:
  • Support the development of strategic communications, presentations, and materials for project initiatives and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate and lead content creation for project videos, workshops, and engagement activities to enhance team visibility and alignment.
  • Manage communication channels including intranet, Viva Engage, SharePoint sites, and email to ensure timely and effective dissemination of information.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with corporate branding and strategy.
  • Track and report on communication and engagement metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications or related fields, with a strong emphasis on strategic messaging and content development.
  • University degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation development, and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, with the ability to produce compelling presentations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
