Why this role is important?We are hiring an Pharmacy Assistant, Central Pharmacy Services CPAK for the afternoon shift.The hours are Monday - Friday 2:15 pm to 10 pm with requirements to work some weekends and statutory holidays.Location: 1685 Tech Avenue, Mississauga, OntarioWhat you'll do:Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflowPrepare compounds, mixtures and temperature control itemsPackage blister pack medicationsDeliver completed product based on schedulesEnsure appropriate follow up on minor issuesSynchronization and collaboration with other departmentsEnsure organization of work station and inventory shelvesMaintain appropriate supplies and materialsSome involvement in prescription information managementRecognize liability on the outcomes of service providedCommitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belongingWhat you bring:Excellent communication skills and customer service skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritize work assignmentsAbility to adapt to changeExperience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essentialAbility to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of timePositive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitudeHigh School DiplomaExposure to Hospital or Long Term Care PharmacyExperience working in a retail pharmacy environmentPharmacy Technician Diploma from accredited college, but not requiredEmployment Type: Full timeType of Role: RegularPlease Note: If you have Employee Self Service (ESS) on Workday, apply to this job via the Workday application.Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :$17.60 - $23.65 / 17,60$ - 23,65$ (per hour / de l’heure)A candidate’s experience and knowledge as well as the geographical region in which the position is located may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
