Compensation Pay Range: $0.00-$0.00Job Description:Full time- Term until April 2026Compensation Pay Range:$0.00-$0.00Job descriptionThe Department of Surgery at CHEO is recruiting a term- until April 2026 full-time Pediatric Dentist within the Division of Dentistry.The Department of Surgery is affiliated with CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute and the University of Ottawa. Together, we provide outstanding patient care, leading research, and quality pediatric medical education. The Department of Surgery provides health care to newborns, children and youth of the Ottawa area, as well as those from Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, Nunavut and parts of Northern Ontario (population of approximately 1.8 million).The CHEO Dental clinic provides specialized services to children and youth with dental conditions needed treatments in a hospital setting. The CHEO Dental clinic is also the designated regional Centre for The Cleft lip and/or palate program. The program allows for integrated care of complex dental/facial anomaly.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of dental care both in the clinic and operating room for patients with medical, cognitive and/or physical disabilities as well as for very young children with significant dental pathology.Qualifications must include a DDS/DMD and Fellowship certification in pediatric dentistry with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Applicants must be eligible to obtain licensure as a specialist in the province of Ontario. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong clinical skills and hospital experience.
