We are supporting a heavily awarded creative agency in their search for a Strategy Director. Someone who brings both strategic depth and leadership to a growing team. This is a senior-level opportunity for a collaborative, business-minded thinker with a strong grounding in branding, communications, and integrated strategy.The ideal candidate will be as comfortable leading strategies across major accounts as they are building teams, mentoring talent, and contributing to new business efforts. You will play a key role in not only shaping work that drives results, but also contributing to the long-term growth of the agency itself.What you’ll do:
  • Lead strategic thinking across one key client as well as new business
  • Identify white space and growth opportunities for brands and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leads to deliver strong, integrated work
  • Roll up your sleeves when needed; crafting briefs, guiding research, shaping narratives
  • Supporting the scaling of the agency’s presence and reputation in the Canadian market
What you bring:
  • 9+ years of strategy experience within creative agency environments
  • Expertise in brand, communications, and digital or social strategy
  • Proven ability to lead both the thinking and the team
  • Experience in QSR or retail clients is strongly preferred
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and strong storytelling skills
  • Proven experience catering strategies to a multicultural audience
  • Track record of growing client relationships and contributing to business development
