- Assist the GM in ensuring an industry leading customer service experience. This happens through leading and coaching the sales team. You will ensure product availability, monitor and exceed food safety requirements . Don't worry if you haven't worked in a bakery previously as we provide full training.

- Manage a small business and a high performing team as well as the team schedules

- Help with local community events and donation of bread as part of our ‘End of Day Giving’ program
- 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a similar role, ideally in the food service, hospitality or franchise industry
- Basic knowledge of financial management skills, including cash management and banking is an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in building camaraderie amongst the team
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- A quick study, with a willingness to learn all operations within the bakery
- A capable people manager and leader with proven experience in recruitment and selection, retention, staff development and disciplinary and termination procedures
- A great communicator, problem solver and critical thinker
- Assist in managing a small business of high performers
- Support for professional development including certified COBS Bread Baker Training and E-Learning
