Job Category: FIELD SPECIALISTJob Description:MPD Field Specialist Location: Nisku, CanadaWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MPD Field Specialist to join our team in Nisku, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and expertise in managing and operating Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems during oil and gas drilling operations.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of MPD equipment, including rotating control devices, choke manifolds, and associated systems.
Monitor and analyze real-time data from the MPD system to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
Collaborate with the rig crew, drilling engineers, and other personnel to optimize drilling parameters and mitigate potential well control issues.
Provide technical guidance and training to rig personnel on MPD operations and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the MPD equipment.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MPD operations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in MPD operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of MPD principles, equipment, and operational procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in using MPD software and data analysis tools.
Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
Willingness to travel and work on offshore rigs or remote locations as required.
Valid certifications and licenses relevant to MPD operations.
