- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of MPD equipment, including rotating control devices, choke manifolds, and associated systems.
- Monitor and analyze real-time data from the MPD system to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Collaborate with the rig crew, drilling engineers, and other personnel to optimize drilling parameters and mitigate potential well control issues.
- Provide technical guidance and training to rig personnel on MPD operations and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the MPD equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MPD operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MPD operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MPD principles, equipment, and operational procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using MPD software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and work on offshore rigs or remote locations as required.
- Valid certifications and licenses relevant to MPD operations.
