This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys owning core bookkeeping and accounting processes in a fast-paced, scaling environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with GAAP.Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial regulations.Perform general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.Support internal controls and conduct internal reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.Assist with external audits and respond to auditor requests.QualificationsCPA designation in good standing.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.Strong proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
