SUMMARYThe primary function of the Crew Foreperson is to provide site level "hands on" technical expertise during the Construction Project. Crew Forepersons provide leadership and scheduling, and coordinate, supervise and ensure the safety and productivity of a larger crew.POSITION DETAILS
This position will be based out of our shop in Carlyle
RESPONSABILITIESParticipate in scheduling and work place planningManage and maintain client relationshipsParticipate in safety/incident investigations and reviewsIdentify needs and deficiencies in the plan/schedule and communicate this to the appropriate peopleEnsure quality and inspection of installationApply project procedures, work site policies and collective agreement requirementsComplete quality reports and required statisticsInform the Superintendent of any out of scope workProvide crews with adequate supervision to accomplish tasks in a safe effective mannerCoordinate manpower movement within their areaEnsure all workers receive the proper trainingQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEJourneyperson trade certification in a relevant tradeFive (5) to seven (7) years of experience as a qualified and competent trades personThree (3) years of supervision experienceExperience with the MS Office SuiteCapable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlinesStrong coordination skills and organization skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsValid drivers licenseAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
