Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.With growing activities in Canada to meet the increasing demand for sustainable transportation, Alstom is looking for motivated candidates who will help us leverage our expertise and apply it locally.We’re looking for a full-time Industrial Painter @ Kingston production site, could it be you?Your future roleAs a member of the production team, you are responsible for carrying out multi-coloured, large-scale exterior and interior painting according to high quality standards and technological specifications.While interacting daily with co-workers, team leaders, supervisors, and managers, all activities will be performed according to EHSS procedures and rules in place.You’ll specifically take care ofCarrying out painting work on time, within budget according to the work plan (degreasing, priming, filling, sanding, painting)Mixing and stirring the materials to be processed according to technological specificationsOperating the paint spraying system with ventilation and appropriate PPE usePerforming complex decorative finishing workDoing repair work on individual parts and the finished productCleaning and maintenance work on the work and operating materialsDisposing of contaminated and unused materials according to technological specifications and environmental regulationsWe’ll look to you forFollowing health and safety compliance measures and work safely in industrial environmentAttention to fine detail and inspection of painted product for defects (scratches, imperfections in application, etc.)Organizing and maintaining inventoryAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
