I am seeking a reliable nanny/housekeeper, preferably live in, that is able to assist with: 1. Care for my 6 year old son; 2. Household maintenance / housekeeping This role requires a candidate that is reliable, both with punctuality and fulfilling work responsibilities; has good work ethic; is an independent worker with strong initiative skills ; experienced both in childcare and in cleaning duties; The candidate should have a flexible schedule as we travel at times to our cottage in the summer or whistler in the winter and will need an adjustable schedule when we travel. We use an averaging agreement wherein there are 8 days off a month, and the days off may change in a given week if travel occurs to accommodate the travel. The candidate should be able to manage laundry, assist with school uniform preparation, prepare bags for extensive extra curricular activities. - basic cooking skills and ability to assist with food preparation is appreciated - strong cleaning skills - experience with children and pets A driver's license is not required for this position but is an asset. Starting rate is higher for candidates who are able to drive. Similarly Spanish or French or a second language are strong additional assets but not required. Looking to fill this position as soon as possible. My son begins school in September and I prefer someone in the role with enough lead time to be familiar with our household prior to school commencing.
