
Property Administrator (12-months)

- Collecting and entering monthly rents and tenant sales in Yardi;
- Review A/R and call tenants for outstanding arrears;
- Prepare statement of accounts and correspondences to send to tenants;
- Maintain accounting / invoicing procedures in conjunction with Head Office, including processing supplier invoices, entering purchase orders into YARDI and preparing monthly tenant service invoices;
- Maintain and update tenant lists / files and other files as necessary;
- Prepare correspondence as necessary;
- Assist the General Manager with preparation and tracking of annual budget and obtaining necessary reports;
- Inform manager of any property, tenant or A/R issues;
- Prepare and update reports;
- Issue default and / or demand notices to tenants for non-payment of rent;
- Record & distribute monthly sales figures for tenants reporting;
- Prepare and distribute RANs & year end recoveries to all tenants;
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager;
- Ensure that RioCan's Health and Safety policies are routinely assessed at the property level;
- Other duties / projects as required.
- College Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration;
- Minimum 3 years previous relevant experience in an administrative role;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
- Detail-oriented;
- Ability to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning;
- Self motivated, professional and flexible;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Knowledge of YARDI is an asset.
