- Provide technical advisory across hydrogen, CCUS, biofuels, renewables, and midstream assets (pipelines, grid, storage)
- Lead engagements: concept development, feasibility studies, technology assessments, business cases, and energy system optimization
- Develop decarbonization strategies and roadmaps for high-emission sectors
- Recommend low-carbon technologies tailored to client operations
- Conduct GHG evaluations and life cycle assessments (LCA)
- Assess solutions for powering data centers and consider AI to optimize energy systems
- Analyze regulations and incentives to identify clean energy investment risks/opportunities
- Support due diligence and risk assessments for energy projects
- Act as project manager from initiation to completion
- Collaborate across WSP's global network to ensure project success
- Mentor junior team members and build client relationships
- Lead proposal development and strategic pitches
- Contribute thought leadership and represent WSP at industry forums
- Build partnerships to address energy transition challenges and drive innovation
- Passion for climate change impacts and a keen interest in decarbonization
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, economics, or a related field of study.
- Post-graduate degree in engineering, science, business, economics, or a related field of study is preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in energy advisory and/or working with organizations in the ERI sector.
- Experience in new energy technologies.
- Expertise in energy yield assessment and relevant financial and statistical analysis
- Expertise in carbon analytics - marginal cost of abatement, levelized cost of conserved carbon etc.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of energy project lifecycle
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Able to travel domestically.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
