- Oversee the full lifecycle of software applications.
- Manages vendor relationships and various support processes at a distance across multiple timezones and cultures.
- Formalizes business cases for new functionalities or issues, conducts gap analysis, proposes technical solutions and builds technical specifications, develops test scripts and supports testing processes.
- Define project scope, workload, and timelines in collaboration with acutarial & finance business experts.
- Lead development efforts and ensure technical feasibility and scalability
- Ensure applications align with business goals and deliver value to users.
- Act as a bridge between IT teams and business units.
- Manages software upgrades together with internal stakeholders and external service providers & internal IT teams
- Drives the use of analytics and reporting tools.
- Actuarial and accounting concepts (e.g. IFRS17, USGAAP, Solvency II)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and manage evolving requirements.
- Understanding of lifecycle management incluging managing multiple deliverables with overlapping priorities and deadlines.
- Communication & Collaboration, engaging with actuarial and finance business experts, developers, and stakeholders to align goals and expectations
- Technical experience with Riskintegrity IFRS17.
- Experience with systems integration, technical interfaces and analytics.
- Programming & Database Proficiency (SQL, Snowflake), knowledge of .NET (C#) and Alteryx integration are nice to have.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- Project Management skills a plus.

- High motivation and capable of working in a challenging international environment in across location teams.
- 5 or more years experience in Actuarial and/or Finance systems
- Insurance / Reinsurance background
- University Degree or higher in management information systems, computer science or a related field
- Based in Toronto
