The Opportunity: The Finance Analyst position is responsible for supporting the DPC Team (Direct Product Cost Team) meet their commitments towards the following processes: sku cost estimates, cost impact scenarios, BOM updates, new sku setups and period end close.Any MLF team member interested in being considered for this role are encouraged to apply online by March 05. Ensure results are correctly reported and tracked for assigned production area mainly yield performance
Perform Inventory Analytics related to BOM performance
Perform cost of product estimates as assigned
Prepare submission of bill of material (BOM) updates
Prepare submission of new sku setups
Participate and support the annual budget process related to cost of product
Participate in the period end close process as assigned
Collaborate with Sr. Finance Analyst and Finance Manager on special projects as assigned.
Provide coverage for finance team members as required.
Ensure compliance with Maple Leaf reporting and financial analysis processes and execute testing as required

What You'll Bring:

Post-secondary education in a finance/business related program is required
Manufacturing experience is an asset
Knowledge of SAP is an asset
Experience in Microsoft Office is essential (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non- financial functions.
An ability to live and teach our Maple Leaf Leadership Values
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
