You will join a dynamic, highly collaborative Platform Engineering team to accelerate our transformation into a cloud-native application.   • Working with the Project Manager to understand the priority of deliverables
  • Working with each of the product owners to define the technical requirements and deliverables that each scrum team will execute against
  • Providing feedback into the backlog grooming process
  • Developing technical architecture documentation along with defining technical requirements to achieve desired business objectives
  • Work with each of the Scrum teams to ensure provided deliverables are achieved to the architecture and required designs
  • Provide leadership and direction when questions arise in technical situations to ensure security and quality are at the forefront
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a software architect
  • 5+ years of working in an agile based software development environment
  • 5+ years of experience with issue and bug tracking products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs
  • Effectively copes with change, finding ways to advance work and projects
  • Uses an organized and logical approach to finding solutions to complex problems, looking beyond the obvious to understand the root cause of the problem, and proposes several possible solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability and experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You have a passion for architecting technical solutions
  • You have a passion for developing tactical technical requirements that are un-ambiguous
  • You have a passion for ensuring high-quality agile processes are continuously followed as a culture along with instilling that culture to the utmost
Benefits
  • Work onsite in Toronto, Canada up to 3 days a week collaborating with the team
  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hour week
