Operate Powered Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support daily warehouse operationsFollow all safety procedures, including equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and compliance with training standardsAccurately scan and track incoming and outgoing shipmentsReceive and verify new inventory, ensuring alignment with manifest documentationInspect all received goods for damage, defects, or missing itemsMaintain accurate stock records through scanning and manual inventory countsLabel products and storage areas for efficient organization and retrievalPick, prepare, package, and label outbound shipments with precisionVerify accuracy of all outgoing orders before dispatchLoad and unload trailers or containers using MHE or manual handlingMaintain cleanliness and organization across all warehouse zonesKeep equipment and tools clean, properly stored, and in working conditionImmediately report any equipment issues or malfunctions to supervisorsAdhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and warehouse protocolsWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredCollaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily performance and quality targetsPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall distribution center goalsQualifications
1-2+ years of hands-on experience operating Powered Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Order Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Clamp Truck, Walkie Rider, and Forklift; valid certifications are a strong assetProven ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs repetitively in a fast-paced distribution environmentDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and safety standardsStrong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy, quality control, and damage preventionCapable of following precise verbal and written instructions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational proceduresExcellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficientlyProficient in basic reading, writing, and communication skills in English to follow documentation and communicate effectively with team membersLegally eligible to work in CanadaSummary
