Why we’ll love You:

  • Post-secondary accounting or business training
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting is required, preferably in insurance brokerage accounting
  • 2 years of people management experience is preferred
  • Bonus: Experience with Acturis

  • Oversee all activities of the Insurance Carrier Payables team
  • Ensure that service level standards are met for insurance-related disbursements
  • Handle monthly close of insurance payable processes
  • Mentors, supports and supervises employees within the team.
  • Assists the Manager, Insurance Carriers Payable with recruitment, performance reviews, training and development, and team engagement.
  • Contribute your expertise in a variety of projects to improve our financial and accounting practices
  • Always thinks customer first, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
