SummaryWe are actively seeking Full Stack Java Developers to join our team immediately on a 1-year term basis. As a Full Stack Java Developer at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications or software solutions for a leading North American Bank. This long-term staff augmentation role requires strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. This role involves technical leadership, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to drive innovation and process improvements to deliver high-quality solutions to our client.What will your typical day look like?Software Development:
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of applications.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
  • Ensure that applications are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before deployment.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as QA, DevOps, and UX/UI teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Project Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Allocate tasks to team members and manage their workload.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
Risk Management:

  • Extensive professional experience in full stack Java development (including Java/J2EE), with a history of working on large and complex applications with high business and customer impact.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience using Angular for front-end development.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), with strong SQL skills and experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional working experience within Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency in front-end UI frameworks such as React is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
  • Experience working in the financial services/banking industry.
  • Strong analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Ability to operate independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
