- Perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Analyze variances and discrepancies, identifying and resolving issues effectively.
- Process a high volume of manual entries, managing thousands of transactions monthly.
- Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to address accounting queries.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Excel for accounting functions and reporting.
- Support payroll operations and other related accounting activities.
- Contribute to the smooth execution of financial processes during periods of departmental turnover.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and intermediate Excel skills, including formulas.
- Familiarity with the media or advertising industry is a strong asset.
- Ability to adapt quickly and notice details in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, friendly attitude with strong communication skills to work effectively in a close-knit team.
- Experience managing high volumes of manual transactions with accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with teammates and external vendors.
