Description :We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our growing web development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies. You will be responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.The Senior Front-End Developer will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Applications & PMO.What are the primary responsibilities of this role?
  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and technical skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
What skills do I need to have for this role?
  • Proven expertise with modern versions of Angular with a strong portfolio of projects. You should be comfortable building complex applications from scratch and maintaining large-scale codebases in either or both frameworks.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kendo UI (or equivalent) Component Libraries for Angular.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
  • Experience with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., NgRx).
  • Strong knowledge & experience of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • In-depth knowledge & experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • A strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git (Github).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • A solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
What are the preferred qualifications/educational background for this role?
  • University degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.
