Material Handlers play an important role in ensuring products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. Working as part of the logistics team, you will load and unload materials, move products throughout the yard and warehouse, and assist with deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.In this role, you may move materials by hand or with equipment such as carts and forklifts. Material Handlers also support general yard operations and other hands-on tasks as needed. A strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a physically active environment will help you succeed.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents, and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Inspect and load various products.
  • Lift and manage heavy loads, repetitive in nature.
  • Handle carrying drywall with care, without damaging or dropping it.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and stretching to prevent injury due to repetitive lifting.
  • Assesses delivery sites for potential hazards.
  • Work alongside driver/boom truck drivers or other carriers in a two-person lift, maximum 160 lbs.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under strict time-lines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team with minimal supervision.
  • Physical lifting ability to lift and carry 75-100 lbs.
  • Ability to work outside in variable temperature and weather conditions.
