What you will do
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Adhere to risk management and branding requirements, ensuring compliance with national guidelines as well as accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, answering telephone calls, photocopying, scanning, and binding materials.
- Open new files, coordinate conflict searches, and manage file-opening processes.
- Maintain filing systems, organize work-in-progress materials, and manage a limitations diary.
- Coordinate, prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and reports using various software tools.
- Assist in preparing and submitting time and expense reports.
- Receive, digitize, and distribute all KPMG correspondence efficiently.
- Liaise with clients and coordinate meetings, conference calls, video conferences, and in-person meetings, including the preparation of necessary materials.
- Arrange travel and coordinate logistics as required.
- Support special projects and carry out other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you bring to the role
- Fully bilingual with a minimum of four years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Adobe products, and document management systems, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, and Acrobat.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
- Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing client demands.
- Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
- Proven ability to function as a team player and build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge of corporate law systems is considered an asset.
