In-Person CounsellingWorkplace Support Programs (WSP) :A group of programs designed to address mental health concerns in the workplace. TELUS Health's Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan.The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity. These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability.Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related fieldMinimum five (5) years of post-masters clinical experienceKnowledge of clinical assessment tools with experience conducting substance abuse assessments & mental health assessmentsAbility to assess all types of psycho-social disorders and develop treatment plansStrong report writing skillsExperience supporting mandated clientsExperience working in an inpatient/outpatient substance abuse treatment facility considered an assetBasic knowledge of community resources and case management skillsAdditional certifications or training in other evidence-based therapies.Flexible to learn new counselling software and case management systems.Valid professional liability insurance.Confidential office space available to support in-person referrals.What TELUS Health can offer you:Referral Network: TELUS Health has an extensive network of clients and organizations that can provide a steady stream of referrals to clinical affiliates.
