They partner with property managers and local businesses to deliver eco-friendly cleaning services that actually save money.They're results-driven, customer-obsessed, and growth-oriented, and now looking for a sales hunter who thrives on closing deals and building recurring revenue.RoleThis is not a desk job. As a Part-Time Sales Hunter (Contractor), you'll be in the field walking properties, running site surveys, pitching proposals face-to-face, and meeting decision-makers.You'll work independently while syncing with our client's operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding and stellar client experience. The mission? Win recurring cleaning contracts across Ottawa and the surrounding areas.Commitment
  • 20-24 hrs/week (87 hrs/month), typically 3 days/week
  • Contractor engagement invoice directly
  • Daytime availability required for on-site visits
  • Performance measured on closed revenue + account quality, not micromanaged activities
  • Simple reporting: 1-page weekly pipeline update + short check-in call
  • Our client will give you a starter set of leads to hit the ground running
Compensation & Perks
  • $25-$30/hr contractor rate (monthly invoicing)
  • $500/month travel allowance
  • 15% commission on gross monthly revenue for 12 months of every new account you close, plus 3% ongoing residual after that
  • $500 fast-start bonus if you close your first $1,000+/month recurring contract within 14 days (after first paid invoice)
  • $750 stretch bonus if you close 2 or more recurring contracts $1,000/month in your first 30 days
  • $500 referral bonus for any candidate you bring in who's hired and completes 90 days
Commission Policy
  • 15% of gross monthly revenue from new accounts for 12 months, then 3% residual ongoing
  • Paid monthly once our client receives payment
  • Accounts qualify as new if not active in the past 12 months
  • Clawback only if a client cancels within 30 days
Who are they Looking For
  • You're a hunter, not a farmer. You know how to chase deals, close them, and build relationships that last.
  • Strong B2B sales experience (Min 1 year of recent experience in the service industry/janitorial/cleaning is a MUST).
  • Proven cold outreach + on-site sales skills
  • Can show and tell: Here's a recurring contract I closed and how I did it
  • Strong local Ottawa market knowledge and network.
  • Personal vehicle + valid G driver's license.
  • Tech comfort: smartphone, Google Sheets, CRM tools.
