
Duty Manager Passenger Services, Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi YYZ

- Ensure compliance with all Swissport's corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
- Efficient Resource Planning (manpower, equipment) and managing scheduling,
- Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities,
- Provide support to front-line staff and management.
- Resolve issues promptly.
- Coach and train all employees to improve operations effectively,
- Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures,
- Accurately perform general payroll updates such as wage adjustments, vacation, banked time, monetary adjustments, etc...
- Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via the Dayforce system,
- Maintain, monitor, and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Conduct full investigations on irregularities, accidents, or complaints as per our standard reporting requirements.
- Ensure senior management is promptly informed of important issues, such as flight irregularities.
- Minimum 3 years of passenger service supervisory experience,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
- Excellent knowledge of passenger service Operations,
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security background check,
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills,
- Leadership ability- demonstrated through previous supervisory experience,
- Customer focus and quality awareness,
- Ability to deal with conflict and escalated situations under pressure and tight deadlines,
- Valid Driver’s License and bondable.
