- Contribute to parts of the planning of engineering projects and when needed oversee the work of technicians or contractors installing components and equipment to ensure design requirements are met.
- Prepare work plans, schedules, and cost estimates for assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare reports and specifications, ensuring designs conform to organizational standards, and other relevant codes, standards and practices.
- Prepare written documentation such as specifications, procedures, reports, drawings and other technical documentation.
- Assist Professional Engineers by carrying out technical tasks that involve obtaining and analyzing data, completing calculations, preparing simple schematic designs or modifications, and determining the intent of a specification or instruction.
- Meet with internal clients to assess their needs and special requirements and develop design concepts and proposals of limited scope and complexity.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0-4 years of relevant work experience—new graduates are welcome to apply
- Eligible for professional membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
